These classes are a wonderful community in which to cultivate time and space to connect to yourself and your baby, to celebrate your body's capacity and this incredible experience, and prepare for what's to come. Through the 4 weeks we will be exploring yogic practices of movement, breath, meditation, stillness and rest in order to cultivate strength, stability and space in your body, to nourish yourself, tune into and trust your body's intuition and wisdom, and furnish yourself with useful tools and experience to draw upon during your journey through pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

Taking our cue from seasonal transitions, this revitalizing yin yoga class encourages us to clear away the cobwebs, cultivating physical space and radiance whilst awakening and freshening your energy. After a long, lockdown winter of hibernation and hunching up against the cold, the sequence of longer, passive poses will brighten the nervous system and unravel the whole body, releasing any residual tension, stress and rigidity.
As you surrender deeper into each pose, the focus comes to settle on stillness of breath, body and mind: yielding into sensation whilst cultivating the time and space to really nourish and replenish yourself. Guided breathing and meditation techniques will centre and uplift the mind, activating the soothing parasympathetic nervous system to leave you feeling rejuvenated, calm and full of ease.
